
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. -- Brad McLean will exhibit at The Kentucky Crafted Market, the Kentucky Arts Council’s signature arts marketplace, March 11-12 at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena in Lexington.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the annual celebration of the best visual art and craft in Kentucky.
McLean was invited to participate in The Market as a juried participant of the arts council’s Kentucky Crafted Program.
“For 40 years, artists in the Kentucky Crafted Program have represented the best of the Commonwealth’s art and craft production on local, state, national and international stages,” said Chris Cathers, arts council interim executive director. “Kentucky Crafted artists contribute mightily to the commonwealth’s global association with artistic excellence and quality craftsmanship.”
McLean has worked in Fine Art for many years, producing original paintings in watercolor, acrylic, and oil, and now is the business owner of Brad McLean Art. McLean is participating in The Market for the first time.
The Kentucky Crafted Market offers buyers from galleries, shops and online retail venues across the nation the opportunity to select products from this elite group of exhibitors. The Market is open exclusively to the trade 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 10.
The marketplace opens to the public,10 a.m.-5 p.m. March 11 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 12.
